When you call 1-877-465-9626, you will speak directly with a specially-trained registered nurse, who will listen carefully to your questions and help you make informed decisions about your health care. Our nurses are prepared with a comprehensive database offering the latest in medical research and information. Whether you aren't sure what to do about a sprained ankle, are trying to learn more about a recent diagnosis, or are wondering if you have to fast prior to an upcoming diagnostic test, ASK-A-NURSE® professional staff is on hand to help you.

If you are inquiring about a health related problem, it is important for you to seek timely health care. Please consult a physician, or if it is a life-threatening situation call 911 or your local emergency response system.

If you are looking for a new physician, a local specialist in a specific field, background or educational information on a particular doctor, or a doctor's office in the Northern New Jersey area, ASK-A-NURSE® can help with that too.

Holy Name Medical Center's ASK-A-NURSE® call center is also the place to call for up-to-date information about almost everything that is happening at the Medical Center. Every month, Holy Name offers numerous free and low cost screenings, classes and activities.

Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

ASK-A-NURSE® does not have access to Medical Center medical records or any other confidential information and are only licensed to triage callers living within the state of New Jersey.
